Pull-ups Standard dead-hang pull up is grasped with an overhand grip. Then the body is pulled up until the chin clears the bar, and finished by lowering the body until arms and shoulders are fully extended.
Chin-ups Same as a pull-up except the elbows are nearly directly below the shoulders.
Push-ups A push-up (BE: press-up), is a common calisthenics exercise performed in a prone position by raising and lowering the body using the arms.
Sit-ups A sit-up begins with lying with the back on the floor and then elevating both the upper and lower vertebrae from the floor until everything superior to the buttocks is not touching the ground.
Squats The movement begins from a standing position. The movement is initiated by moving the hips back and bending the knees and hips to lower the torso, then returning to the upright position.
